Ulterior Gallery presents a two-person presentation of works by Silas Inoue and Gaku Tsutaja at NADA Miami 2021. Inoue is a second generation Japanese Danish artist based in Copenhagen, and Tsutaja is a Japanese artist who lives and works in Queens, NY. Inoue and Tsutaja explore strange cultural landscapes, where nature and diverse living beings play significant roles. The new paintings by Tsutaja with new sculptures by Inoue will create a thoughtful dialogue between the two artists, whose works both resonate with aspects of Japanese mysticism and imaginary futuristic scenery.
